（1）外在感官特征：代县酥梨其个头大，色泽金黄、果肉酥脆，含糖量高，果形上保持了酥梨个大、周正美观的优点，果皮色泽更加光洁金黄。代县酥梨果型似鸭梨，皮薄肉厚，果核小，酥脆可口，清香浓郁，品质优良，风味独特。
（2）内在品质特征：代县酥梨品质特色就是含糖量，一般不套袋酥梨果实含糖量在16-19%之间，最高可达21%，套袋酥梨在13-16%之间，最高可达18%。比一般鲜梨高3-5%。，代县酥梨具有其它梨无可比拟的酥、脆、甜、香等特点，因而不仅生食适口性强，若加工成梨脯、罐头等，更是独具特色，别有风味。
（3）质量安全规定：代县酥梨基地土壤、空气、水质均符合无公害水果产地环境标准GB/T2798.4-2015.在生产过程中严格按照《无公害酥梨生产操作规程》和《无公害酥梨质量控制措施》执行，执行标准NY5101-2002,使产品达到优质、安全、营养、无污染。
