永济大樱桃产区位于永济市栲栳镇台垣区，包括栲栳镇、蒲州镇、张营镇、开张镇、城西街道、城北街道六个镇（街道办），23个行政村。2010年通过地理标志农产品认证，地域保护范围东经110°15′—110°45′，北纬34°44′—35°04′，认证面积1400公顷，年产量31500吨。大樱桃果实硕大，平均单果重量为10g，最大果重达16g，成熟时其外观鲜红艳丽，玲珑剔透，味美形娇，营养丰富。据北京谱尼测试检测，碳水化合物13.5g/100g，脂肪0.11 g/100g，维生素Ｃ18.5mg/100g，镁105mg/kg，钙157 mg/kg等多种物质均高于普通品种。
